Editorial Objectives

It is the aim of the journal to provide an effective medium for scholars and managers to share and discuss research findings on business and business phenomena, and to publish articles that help improve our understanding of business and business practices. The journal publishes discipline-based scholarship and welcomes both conceptual and empirical work. The journal also welcomes replications of empirical studies and opinion and comment from executives. Manuscripts should be embedded in the contemporary literature, and initial review and acceptance will be predicated on: (a) clear and logical theory building for conceptual work and methodological adequacy for empirical work, (b) citation of contemporary sources, (c) relevance of the research and applications being clearly discussed, and (d) compliance with the formatting, citation, and reference style of the AJB.
